Do unto others…

Snapping at a friend usually leads to them snapping back. That’s expected. When we accuse someone, they’re likely to defend themselves and argue. No surprise there either.

But when we show love and kindness, it tends to come back to us in the same way. So, why is it sometimes harder to express love? A lot of us fear rejection. Offering love when we’re scared it won’t be returned makes us feel vulnerable. But the ideas we’re learning in this program can help us realize that we usually get back what we put out. It’s like a balance. Keeping this in mind before reacting to others can bring more peace into our lives.

…

Today’s Affirmation:

I will know what to expect from others today by how I treat them. I pray to be kind and loving.
