Control robs us of serenity.

The Serenity Prayer can really change our lives if we let it. A lot of our problems come from trying to control the people around us. What they’re doing usually doesn’t matter; we just want them to do what we want!

There’s so much we can’t control, but our refusal to let go leads to frustration, stress, and constant drama. But here’s the simple fix: we can ask God for the wisdom to know what we can change and what we need to accept. That wisdom will come, and so will the peace we’ve been looking for.

Today’s Affirmation:

God, grant me serenity today, along with wisdom and acceptance, so I can fulfill your will for me.
