Seeking help or staying isolated–it’s a decision we make every day.
All of us here have made a big decision—we’ve chosen to stop dealing with our struggles alone. We’ve decided to ask for help, to share our experiences, and to open up instead of bottling everything inside.
For a long time, many of us were afraid to let others see what our lives were really like. But now, we’re realizing that our struggles aren’t too big to handle. Others have been through tough times too—some maybe even harder than our own.
At first, trusting new people wasn’t easy. After all, we’d been keeping things to ourselves for so long. But as we listened to others share their stories, we saw that it was safe to open up. We all have our own battles, but by sharing them, we help each other heal.
Making the choice to seek support has already changed our lives for the better. And now, we know that whenever we need guidance, we have a community, a sponsor, and a place where we don’t have to go through anything alone ever again.
Today’s Affirmation:
Today I’ll not stew in isolation. I will ask for help when I need it.
