We honor the spirit in other people when we listen to them.
God’s messages are all around us. Each day is unique and will never happen again. The people we encounter today have lessons to teach us through their words and actions.
We need to stay alert and listen carefully. There’s so much for us to learn, and that’s why we’re here. Even when we don’t fully understand, our lives have meaning. Remember, God speaks to us in everyday moments, so it’s important to stay attentive to everyone around us. By focusing on others, we also help them learn their lessons. This cycle continues. We are not here by chance, but by design. We can discover our purpose and learn what we’re meant to by recognizing God’s presence in everyone we meet.

Today’s Affirmation:
I will pay special attention to the people in my life today. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing they are part of God’s plan for me.
Since 1954, A Life Of My Own has been a stable force in the recovery of many alcoholics worldwide. It is a spiritual resource with practical applications in our daily lives.
