“We admitted….”

We have many things to admit. We have to admit that we have tried to control far more than is ours to control. We have to admit our shortcomings to ourselves and to others. We have to admit we need to hear what others in the program want to share. We have to admit that we need a belief in a Higher Power for guidance and courage. We have to admit we have hurt others and need to make amends. Most of all, we have to admit we sincerely want better lives, ones with the joy and peace we deserve.

We won’t be able to define our dreams for the future until we can clear our minds of the chaos of the past. The program will help us admit what we need to and accept what comes next. In a very short time, our vision for the future will resemble nothing from our past. Saner living and joy are expected.
