In this fellowship, we are learning to keep an open mind and a closed mouth.

Taking an honest inventory of our actions just before we go to sleep may reveal that we opened our mouth when it should have been closed. But it’s not easy to be quiet when we are certain we are right. After all, she shouldn’t drink, should she? And if he keeps skipping out on work, he’ll get fired.

No matter how right we think we are, whether at work, in the grocery store, or at home, we have to let go of trying to direct the behavior of others. We have quite enough to handle just being in charge of ourselves. What a gift this fellowship is! We never knew we could make a habit of keeping quiet.

Today’s Food for Thought:

AI will bite my tongue if i have to today, but I won’t tell someone else what to do!

A spiritual resource with practical applications to fit our daily lives.
