The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life Before 8 am.
Life S.A.V.E.R.S.
The miracle life S.A.V.E.R.S is a set of six simple life-enhancing habits that are guaranteed to deliver great outcomes in your personal life.
Let’s take a look at these habits and see how they can serve you, becoming the person you need to attract, create, and live more gracefully easily.
S is for Silence
Silence is the first practice of the Life S.A.V.E.R.S. According to Hal, it is the most significant of all the steps.
Silence is the best way to reduce stress while increasing self-awareness immediately.
Here are some great silence inducing activities you can choose from:
Meditation, prayer, reflection, deep breathing, gratification. Sit in silence: Praying, meditating (thanking God, The Universe, Source energy, and what have you; for the blessing of this wonderful day.
A is for Affirmations
Affirmation is a powerful reminder of the unlimited potential that is within you. It allows you to develop the mindset (thoughts, beliefs, focus) needed to reach the next level.
Jotted down what you wanted out of life. Who are you committed to being? And what you are committing to do to make it happen.
Your affirmations are either working for or against you. (Depends on how you use them.) If you don’t consciously design and choose your affirmations, you are exposed to repeat and relive the fears, insecurities, and limitations of your past. The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz is a great read to help understand the power of words.
5 Simple Steps To Create Your Own Affirmations
Step 1: Define What You Really Want
The purpose of written affirmation is to program your mind with the beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors vital for creating and sustaining your levels of success.
You can organize your affirmations according to the areas you want to focus on improving the most. (e.g., health/fitness, mindset, emotions, finances, relationships, spirituality, etc.)
Clarify, and write down what you really want—your ideal vision for your life—in each area.
Step 2: Why You Want It?
Explain why all of the things you want are important to you.
Being crystal clear on your deepest whys will give you an unstoppable purpose.
Step 3: Whom You Are Committed To Being To Create It?
Key reminders:
- Your life gets better only after you get better.
- Your outer world improves only after you’ve invested countless hours improving yourself.
- Take massive actions
Step 4: What You’re Committed To Doing To Attain It?
In essence, what actions can you take consistently to make your vision/ ideal life a reality?
- Be sure to include frequency (how often), quantity (how many), and precise time frames (what times you’ll begin and end your activities.)
- Start small (write down your daily or weekly goal and decide when you will increase it.)
- Don’t overhype yourself talk. (One step at a time)
Step 5: Add Inspirational Quotes.
To maximize productivity, schedule 3-5 hour blocks or half-days to focus on one activity or project, rather than switch from tasks every 60 minutes. This will improve your results and quality of life.
V is for Visualization
Visualization, also known as creative visualization or mental rehearsal. It is a powerful tool for generating positive results in your outer world.
Use your imagination to create mental pictures of specific behaviors and outcomes of your desire.
Create a vision board.
Shift your focus for 10 min from image to image, pause at each one, close your eyes and feel it already manifested.
Note: Frequently used by athletes to enhance their performances, visualization is the process of imagining exactly what you want to achieve or attain. By the same token, mentally rehearse what you’ll need to do to achieve or attain it.
E is for Exercise
If you want to maintain good health and increase your energy, you must exercise constantly.
Morning exercise should be a staple in your daily rituals.
When you exercise for even a few minutes every morning, it significantly boosts your energy, enhances your health, improves self-confidence and emotional well-being.
R is for Reading
Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body and prayer is to the soul. We become the books we read.-Matthew Kelly.
Reading is a fast track that can help you transform any area of your life.
It is one of the most immediate methods for acquiring the knowledge, ideas, and strategies you need to achieve Level 10 success in any area of your life.
Read a minimum of 10 pages a day, then choose a few ideas that you’re excited to implement or practice for that particular day.
S is for Scribing
Scribing is the final practice in the Life S.A.V.E.R.S. Generally speaking, it is just another word for Journaling.
The Scribing element of your Miracle Morning enables you to document your insights, ideas, breakthroughs, realizations, successes, and lessons learned. In addition, any areas of opportunity, personal growth, or improvement.
The simplest act of writing down the things you’re grateful for and other life events will surely boost your mood and spirit.
It’s been said that nobody actually likes waking up early, but everyone loves the feeling of having woken up early. Kind of like exercising—many of us struggle to get to the gym, but we love the feeling of having gone to the gym.
STILL FEEL UNINSPIRED?
Here are the five simple snooze-proof steps to making waking up in the morning—even early in the morning—easier than ever before.
Step #1: Set Your Intentions Before Bed
This is the most important step. Remember: your first thought in the morning is usually the last thought you had before you went to bed.
As soon as the alarm clock sounds, open your eyes with enthusiasm and excitement to get out of bed. 🙂
The key is to consciously decide to actively and mindfully create a positive expectation for the morning. Download The Morning “Bedtime Affirmation” if you need help with this one at www.TMMBook.com
Step #2: Move Your Alarm Clock Across The Room
Simply forcing yourself to get out of bed to turn off the alarm clock can help you stay awake.
This simple act will increase your wake-up motivation from a level 1 to a 2.
Step #3: Brush Your Teeth
Elrod explained that the point is to do these mindless activities for the first few minutes and give your body time to wake up.
This simple activity will increase your wake-up motivation from a 2 to a level 3 or a level 4.
Step #4: Drink a Full Glass of Water
The objective is to rehydrate your body and mind as fast as possible.
After 6-8 hours without water, the body is naturally dehydrated, which often causes sluggishness and fatigue. When you drink a glass of water to re-hydrate yourself, your wake-up motivation level goes from a level 3 or 4 to a level 4 or 5.
Step #5: Get Dressed In Your Workout Clothes
Some people prefer to start their day by jumping into the shower, but Hal believes we should earn our morning shower by breaking a sweat first.
After you’ve gone through steps 1 to 4, take a few minutes to start exercising. Perhaps it’s a 10 min yoga or 10 push-ups every morning; make it a habit.
It will position you at a peak level. In addition, your mood will increase dramatically.
THE 6-MINUTE MIRACLE (REAL RESULTS IN SIX MINUTES!)
Here’s what your 6 min morning schedule might look like:
Minute 1 – Envision yourself waking up peacefully in the morning. Begin with a stretch and a smile on your face. Spend the first minute sitting quietly, in purposeful Silence. Calm your mind, relax your body, and allow all of your stress to melt away.
Minute 2 – Pull out your daily affirmations—the ones that remind you of your unlimited potential. Particularly, your most important priorities—and read them out loud. As you focus on what’s most important to you, your level of internal motivation increases.
Minute 3 – You close your eyes, or you look at your vision board, and you visualize. Your Visualization could include what this dream will look and feel like when you reach your ideal goals.
Minute 4 – Take one minute to write down some of the things that you’re grateful for. For the most part, things you’re proud of and the results you’re committed to creating for that particular day.
Minute 5 – Grab your self-help book and invest one miraculous minute reading a page or two. Learn a new idea. Something you can incorporate into your day that can improve your results at work or in your relationships.
Minute 6 – Finally, stand up and spend the last minute moving your body for 60 seconds. Maybe you run in place, maybe you do a minute of jumping jacks. Maybe you do push-ups or sit-ups. Whatever that is for you, please do it.
The point is that you’re getting your heart rate up. This will help generate energy and increase your ability to be alert and focused.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised in the next few minutes as you realize how powerful (and life-changing) these six minutes can be!
