The Root Chakra In a Nutshell for beginners

3 Ways to nourish and balance The Root Chakra

Walk as if you are kissing the Earth with your feet.”
― Thich Nhat Hanh

The Root Chakra Also called the base chakra, is the foundation of the core energy center.

Known in Sanskrit as the Muladhara (pronounced moola-Dara). This chakra is your connection to groundedness, calmness, stability, harmony, and anchored in reality.

It is the foundational platform for everything we create in the physical world, where the flow of the universe’s energy enters you.

  • Location: the root chakra locates at the base of your spine. It is your connection to the earth and your physical body.
  • Traditional Color: Red.
  • Element: Earth.
  • symbol: A square within a circle and four lotus petals
  • vibration or mantra: lam
  • Key Benefits: Feeling grounded in your body and secure in life.
  • Types of Intelligence: Instinctual, physical.

Root Chakra: In balance

When the root chakra is activated, you tackle new challenges and feel confident doing so. In addition, you’ll have a sense of stability and a feeling of a balanced existence.

Root Chakra: Out of balance

You can create a blockage around your root Chakra if you’re always in a constant battle with yourself or have difficulties taking care of your basic needs.

When the root chakra is out of balance, you might feel unfocused and very anxious.

These problems may lead to digestion difficulties, anemia, and having critically low blood pressure.

Here are 3 Ways you can nourish and balance the Root Chakra

first, must i reminds you that balancing the Chakras and coping with life’s challenges is a life-long process.

Some ways to constantly nourish and balance the root chakra, start with the foods to eat, such as:

  • Root vegetables 🥒 🥕🥔🍅🥜🍓🌰🍎
  • protein-rich foods, such as chia seed.
  • Eat many red foods: beets, radishes, carrots, potatoes, turnips, mushrooms, beans, nut butter, eggs, tomatoes, red apples, pomegranates, strawberries, raspberries, cayenne, and fish.

All these foods can enhance and stimulate your first chakra.

Now let’s look at other ways you can balance the root chakra:

  • Physical exercise or practicing yoga.
  • Listen to upbeat music. Moves your body and soul with some Latin music, Hip Hop, pop, rock, techno music — whatever music makes you happy, do that.
  • Combine your wardrobe and décor your home using the color red.
  • Scents and smells can also be a significant influence on the root chakra.
  • Scent such as roses, cinnamon bark, green tea, and aromatherapy oils. All of these can improve your well-being.

Final Words:

I wish you the best optimal health and inner peace.

Remember; You are loved, you are worthy, you matter

Now take what you learn here, put them into practice.

And as the artist, poet, and writer, Kahlil Gibran put it, “And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.”

And as always, thank you for your time, until next time friend.

Take care.
